A scarf’s print often catches your eye first, but its dimensions determine how much fabric you can fold and drape. Before choosing a colour, decide whether you want a small accent or a longer silhouette. A square and a rectangular scarf offer two clear starting points.
A square with a recognisable print
The brown leopard-print scarf measures 70 × 70 cm and is made of 100% polyester according to its information. You can fold a square diagonally first, then decide how wide you want the accent. Let the print stand out beside a plain top, for example. Check that your chosen way of wearing it feels comfortable.
More length to work with
The beige viscose scarf lists dimensions of 200 × 100 cm. This longer rectangle provides a different starting point: fold it lengthwise and let the ends hang. Dimensions do not tell you its thickness or weight; do not infer those properties from a photograph alone.
Make the difference visible
Take a scarf you already own and measure it flat. Compare its length and width with the examples. This helps you see what is missing from your collection. A large size is not automatically better: a small neckline or a detailed coat might suit less volume.
Check material and care separately
Polyester and viscose are different listed materials. Follow the chosen scarf’s label and product information for washing and drying. Select the dimensions you will actually use, then choose print and colour. The links above show the current versions and product photographs.
